Happy Independence Day 2024 | Genesis Hospital Kolkata like always celebrated our 78th Independence Day at our auditorium promoting the theme Viksit Bharat 2047 as our Prime Minister Narendra Modi envisions a nation which is developed in all aspects.
Our eco-friendly and sustainable development on consumption of Vegan Food was illustrated by our team of In-House Dietitians and we launched 3 New Vegan Items such as Mango Salad, Sweet & Sour Tofu and Gajar ka Halwa ( without milk products ) which were tasted by our audience, thus creating an awareness to adopt good nutrition practices to encourage healthy lifestyle.
The campaign of "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" was successfully accomplished as we provided 350 Jade (Indoor Plants) to students, employees, doctors, nurses and in the neighborhood which consists of street stall owners.
Last but not the least, we demonstrated our feelings and emotions towards the untimely and horrific death of Dr. Moumita Debnath ( a PG Trainee Doctor) with a 1 minute silence and wearing black wrist bands throughout the day, as a protest against the heinous crime within a Hospital.
We gave a platform to all our employees who could sing the National Anthem together in unison ( Jana Gana Mana by Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore ) the literal and poetic transalations were encapsulated, and patriotic songs, dances, recitations and skits honouring the Indian Army at the borders who are protecting us all the time were the highlights of the event which was beautifully conducted and effectively portrayed by the employees of Genesis Hospital, Kasba, Kolkata.
