Paul Calls for Global Unity to End Wars, Emphasises Peace as Path to Prosperity International Peacemaker Urges Collective Political, Religious and Civic Support to Prevent Escalating Global Conflicts Kolkata,2nd March 2026: The World’s Most Popular Evangelist and Founder of the Global Peace Initiative (GPI), Dr. K. A. Paul on Monday addressed a Press Conference at the Press Club of Kolkata, reiterating his call for global unity to end ongoing wars and prevent further escalation of conflicts. Speaking to the media, Dr. Paul said that India must play a leading role in promoting peace worldwide and highlighted that he has been engaged in international peace efforts since 1981. প্রেস ক্লাব কলকাতার ৮১ তম প্রতিষ্ঠা দিবস উপলক্ষে আজ মোহনবাগান মাঠে এক প্রীতি ফুটবল ম্যাচের আয়োজন করা হয়। এই ম্যাচে প্রাক্তন ভারতীয় একাদশ ৩-২ গোলে প্রেস ক্লাবকে পরাজিত করে। বিজয়ী দলের পক্ষে  দীপেন্দু বিশ্বস, আবিদ হোসেন, সঞ্জয় মাঝি গোল করেছেন। প্রেস ক্লাবের কিংশুক প্রামাণিক ও সুমন্ত সাহা গোল করেন।  ভারতীয় একাদশ দলে  ছিলেন - মানস ভট্টাচার্য, জগদীশ ঘোষ, অমিত ভদ্র, বিদেশ বসু, কবীর বোস, অলোক দাস, প্রশান্ত চক্রবর্তী, সুমিত মুখার্জি, অমিত দাস, কৃষ্ণেন্দু রায়, দেবাশিস পাল চৌধুরী প্রমুখ। বিকেলে ক্লাব তাঁবুতে এক অনুষ্টানে পুরস্কার বিতরণ করা হয়েছে।
