প্রেস ক্লাব কলকাতার ৮১ তম প্রতিষ্ঠা দিবস উপলক্ষে আজ মোহনবাগান মাঠে এক প্রীতি ফুটবল ম্যাচের আয়োজন করা হয়। এই ম্যাচে প্রাক্তন ভারতীয় একাদশ ৩-২ গোলে প্রেস ক্লাবকে পরাজিত করে। বিজয়ী দলের পক্ষে  দীপেন্দু বিশ্বস, আবিদ হোসেন, সঞ্জয় মাঝি গোল করেছেন। প্রেস ক্লাবের কিংশুক প্রামাণিক ও সুমন্ত সাহা গোল করেন।  ভারতীয় একাদশ দলে  ছিলেন - মানস ভট্টাচার্য, জগদীশ ঘোষ, অমিত ভদ্র, বিদেশ বসু, কবীর বোস, অলোক দাস, প্রশান্ত চক্রবর্তী, সুমিত মুখার্জি, অমিত দাস, কৃষ্ণেন্দু রায়, দেবাশিস পাল চৌধুরী প্রমুখ। বিকেলে ক্লাব তাঁবুতে এক অনুষ্টানে পুরস্কার বিতরণ করা হয়েছে।
